"This is a wonderful and meaningful way that the Chapter is able to help families affected by MS," said
Carrie Nolan
, president of the Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society. "We are pleased to be able to assist students with their education as they will be tomorrow's leaders," she added.
Nationally, a total of 518 scholarships totaling $1.14 million were awarded this year. Applications for 2009 scholarships will available October 1, 2008 and may be submitted from October 15, 2008 to January 15, 2009. For detailed guidelines and application information, visit
