Harvest Farm's 7th annual fall festival & corn maze, presented by the Colorado Eagles, is open now through Saturday, October 31st (
www.HarvestFarm.net).
The fall festival is not just an entertainment event; proceeds from the festivities go towards supporting a local non-profit, the Denver Rescue Mission. The fall festival is a fun, safe and exciting place for the whole family and offers numerous adventurous activities including a 12 acre corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, corn cannons, pumpkin blasters, hay rides, children's playground, pig races, tricycle track, concessions, barrel train and much more.
All event proceeds support Mission programs including Harvest Farm, a long-term rehabilitation facility for men who have experienced addiction and homelessness. Men living at Harvest Farm operate the farm and participate in emotional, spiritual, financial, academic, and vocational education as well as job training, and counseling.
Countless men, including Mark, have gained tools to help rebuild their lives at Harvest Farm. Mark came to Harvest Farm after thirty seven years of struggling with drug addiction and poor life choices. At Harvest Farm, Mark received counseling, the opportunity to earn his associates degree in welding and metallurgy and now gives back to the community by working in prison ministry. Today, he says, "I owe the Farm so much. I have hope in my life. I have a future."
Get out of the city and spend a weekend with your family at Harvest Farm's Fall Festival & Corn Maze and support the Denver Rescue Mission's efforts to serve the needs of the poor and homeless in Metro Denver and northern Colorado. For more information, visit
