The ads are appealing...earn a degree in three years. But Westwood College, a Colorado based national chain of career colleges is under fire. Some former students claim in an arbitration action their degrees are worthless pieces of paper because many traditional colleges will not accept their credits or degrees. On top of this, these students, backed by a high powered law firm claim the students are saddled with huge debt at high interest rates through a Westwood financial aid program. Keep in mind there are two sides to this story. Westwood is fighting back and has been very forthcoming in disputing the allegations. On
