Channel 12 to air emotional episode of Wide Angle


DENVER - (October 6, 2009) - Channel 12 is bringing international affairs into your living room with the award-winning series Wide Angle.

On Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. Channel 12 will air an one-hour emotional episode of Wide Angle, which showcases the life of an economist who is determined to end hunger in her poverty-stricken country of Ethiopia by creating the country's first commodities exchange. This episode examines the difficulties she encounters on her path to pursue her dream due to the ever-present world financial crisis.

Wide Angle is a documentary series which takes an in-depth and incomparable look into current international issues. The show is currently hosted by veteran journalist Aaron Brown. The series is in its seventh season and has won several awards including an Emmy.
