Local nonprofit ships 2,000 jerseys to New Orleans

Denver-based nonprofit Sports For A Cause helped ship off about 2,000 Little League baseball uniforms to the New Orleans Parks and Recreation Department's youth baseball leagues and school district in May. The caps, jerseys and equipment, donated by XP Apparel, will help replenish those that were lost in the August 2005 storm, according to Brandon Tosti, founder of Sports For a Cause.
