Pumpkin shopping at Denver Botanic Gardens
Contributed by: YourHub.com on 10/29/2007

It was the perfect day for some late shopping for the perfect pumpkin Oct. 28 at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Brady Alexander and his 9-year-old daughter, Tegan, of Elizabeth, had dozens and dozens of pumpkins to sort through and examine, seeking the perfect Halloween Jack-o Lantern candidate.

On the hillside, created by gardens staff, was the hopeful urging for a Colorado Rockies victory in the World Series. Unfortunately, it was not to be - Colorado lost to the Boston Red Sox, four games to none.
