The Colorado History Museum marked the opening of its new exhibit,
Imagine a Great City: Denver at 150 with a free community celebration Nov. 22. Members of the Colorado Historical Society were decked out in historic garb to greet visitors, and kid-friendly activities included decorating picture frames, panning for gold and learning to rope a steer. Performances included the Mountaineers Square Dance Club, the Denver Indian Singers and Dancers and songs of ranch women and cowgirls with Liz Masterson.
