It's always sunny at the Convention Center

Denver's Division of Theatres and Arenas and their project partners presented a new solar-powered system at the Colorado Convention Center, 14th and Stout streets, on March 18. The center's rooftop is now covered with 30,000 square feet of solar panels providing 300-kilowatts of power. The project is a partnership between the city and such organizations as the Colorado Renewable Energy Program, Oak Leaf Energy Partners and Namasté Solar.
