Colorado Guardsman promoted in Iraq

CAMP RAMADI, Iraq - Sgt. Luke McCorkel, a medic assigned to 3rd Battalion, 157th Field Artillery, Colorado Army National Guard, 115th Fires Brigade, was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in a small ceremony at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, Sept. 28, 2009. McCorkel is a Boulder, Colo., resident.
