Quiet Waters Ministries, a ministry focused on the spiritual, emotional and physical health of the Christian Leader, is taking an adventurous step of putting on a day long Christian Music Festival for youth as a fundraiser for the ministry. The ministry focuses on strengthening spiritual leaders in the church, but are targeting a younger crowd to create awareness of the ministry for youth pastors and an outreach opportunity for the youth.
The Quiet Waters Christian Music Festival is going to be held on Friday June 1st. The day will be kick-started with a skate park by Sport Reach at 11:00 am, then live music starting at 1:00 going until 10:00 pm. Two national bands and six local bands will be performing in addition to guest speaker Jeff VanKooten and comedian Rich Praytor. The band line up includes Fight The Good Fight, Eddie Kanani, Three Cord Wonder, The View From Here, The Ride, Rough Draft, Factors of Seven, Eleventyseven, and Seventh Day Slumber. The event will be held at Southeast Christian Church in Parker Colorado. more event information is available at www.qwmusicfestival.com.
Quiet Waters is dedicated to facilitating and encouraging transformational change at the core of the Christian Leader's life. They offer retreat to pastors, youth pastors, and other spiritual leaders. To learn more about Quiet Waters and their ministries visit their website at www.qwaters.org. Come see them turn up the volume of the Quiet Waters to maximum volume for a day of music, sports and laughs.
