I love the Rockies becuse i love baseball,I am 87 years old and have watched a lot of baseball on the west coast and i moved to colorado in 1992 and i then became a Rockie fan.They started shortly after i got here and they were exciting right from the time the umpire said "play ball" and they captured me as a fan .They have turned out a great number of first class players who always came to play first class baseball and it was always wonderful to sit there and watch the great plays that they made and the excitement of the game whether they won or lost. i get excited just thinking about going to the game and then they announce the lineup and then i really start to feel like a Rockie fan.They have always played as a team and despite some criticism from some of the sportsriters and fans they alway gave us 100%. I now need a wheelchair to get to my seat with the help of the wonderful volunteers, but what s wonderful feeling to look down on that beautiful diamond and wait for the first pitch and look forward to having one of those wonderful hotdogs.I sure don't need 500 words to tell you why i love the Rockies,, i just do. patdeluna@comcast.net
