I've always identified with Miranda. A feminist child of the 70's and 80's, I admired Miranda's self-determination and ethics, especially her strong work ethic. I identify with this woman who wants to besmart, strong, successful but is not a man in woman's clothing. I always thought that she had a lot of characteristics of many lesbians I know and admire also but I appreciate the fact that the writers of this show kept her as a straight woman! Smart, successful, beautiful women are straight and gay!
