Errors Set in Stone in Lowry
Contributed by: Eric Hubler on 7/26/2005

Three typographical errors appear in quotations engraved in the walls of Bayaud Park and the Reading Garden in Lowry. Responsibility is unclear, but I am asking the Lowry Foundation, which uses public and private money for cultural and beautification projects around Lowry, to fix them.
Do apostrophes matter? Only if literacy matters.
If you agree that our children should be exposed to correct English, please let the Lowry Foundation know at 173 S. Poplar St., Denver, CO 80230; foundation@lowry.org, or 303-340-3833.
Or, please join me at the Foundation's next public meeting, Friday, Aug. 19 (note new date) at 8:30 am at 173 S. Poplar.
