Referendum C and D
Contributed by: Jack Ely on 10/10/2005

Really getting tired of both sides TV Ads and claims on C and D. I am against C and D. I  see the TV Ads saying that C will not effect your Tax Refund. Everyone should know that it does not effect your Tax Refund but it does remove your TABOR REBATE.

I think Gov. Owens and all the Pro C and D people should leave th Tabor Refund alone and ask all the Pro's to return their rebates to the State. As I see it they don't want to go that route because NO ONE will give it back.

All the thing they say they are going to do if C and D are approved never seem to happen.

Around my area, 17th Street has needed repair for years. Nothing. In front of my home the sidewalk has deteriated. I've called about it as we have handicapped people that try to use the sidewalk but can't as their walkers won't go. At the corner they cannot get off the curb as we still do not have the sloped ramps for handicapped.

All these things and they want more from the seniors and poor.

Just tired of the bureaucracy and give it to the State. Tell them to live in their budget like we try to.

A Concerned Senior Citizen.
