Contributed by: Ida Lambert on 12/31/2007

East High School Rugby Club announced the first members to be inducted into the Club's Hall of Fame. The Club held its 20th Anniversary Alumni Dinner on December 20th. The special occasion was highlighted with glowing introductions of Hall of Fame inductees Paul Hoskins, Sr. and Link Wilfley. Rugby fans filled the Social Room of the Capitol Heights Presbyterian Church. Over 200 attended including alumni, coaches, current players, and parents, as well as five players from the club's first team in 1988.

Colorado Lt. Gov. and team mom Barbara O'Brien presented honors to Paul Hoskins Sr. and Link Wilfley. As the club's first coach and founder, Paul devoted many years to teaching and mentoring young rugby players and has continued his strong support for the club. Link began his lengthy career as a player for the 1997 team and continued with the sport, playing professionally in England, and seeing the epitome of the sport in a trip to the Rugby World Cup with the U.S.
National team.
