DENVER-March 26, 2009-The Aussie Rules Football season begins Monday, Apr. 6 on KBDI's MHz Worldview (DT-12.3). The match of the week, chosen by fans, and a one-hour highlight program will air at 6 and 9 p.m.

In the April 6 match, 2008's league-leading goal kicker Daniel Motlop and most improved player Travis Boak of the Port Adelaide Power vie in the most competitive league in the world for a NAB Cup premiership against the defending champion Hawthorn Hawks.

The Australian Football League (AFL) features 16 teams, from the Essendon Bombers, to the St. Kilda Saints, to the Sydney Swans. With fervent action, athleticism, culture and camaraderie, Aussie League Football is performed at a world class level with passion and national pride.
