Outlaws Out For Revenge: Host Barrage On Saturday
Contributed by: Ben Dignan on 7/17/2007

Denver-July 17, 2007- The Denver Outlaws return to INVESCO Field at Mile High on Saturday, July 21, to take on an Eastern Conference foe in the Philadelphia Barrage in a rematch of last year's MLL Championship game.

In that game, Barrage midfielder Roy Colsey scored a postseason record 10 points and Philadelphia face-off specialist Paul Cantabene won a playoff record 27 face-offs as the Barrage won the title by a final score of 23-12.

Philadelphia (6-2) rides into town tied for first place in their division. The Barrage are coming off a 12-7 victory over New Jersey on July 12. Led by attackman Ryan Boyle, whose 41 points make him the third highest point man in the MLL, the Barrage have won three straight games and look to make it four in a row against Denver.

The Outlaws dropped their last game by a final score of 17-5. The loss came against the division leading L.A Riptide and drop the Outlaws to 4-4 on the season.

The Barrage may have gotten the best of the Outlaws in the past, but Denver attackman Brendan Mundorf looks to put pressure on the 2006 Warrior Goalie of the Year Brian Dougherty and get the Outlaws a much-needed victory.
