Kickball takes over the field at Invesco

Players gathered at Invesco Field at Mile High on Aug. 4 to play a few innings of kickball on the top-notch turf before the Denver Outlaws lacrosse team took to the grass for the day's game.

The outing was organized by the Western Alternative Sports Association, which regularly sponsors recreational alt-sports events and leagues including kickball, broomball and others.

WASA is nearing their Aug. 22 deadline for registration in a fall kickball league. (link)
