I love the Rockies because it gives me a chance to spend quiet time with my husband and 3 zillion other very close knit fans. It gives me the opportunity to challenge my cleaning skills when he drips mustard, ketchup, cheezy chipsand beer on his shirt. We're never interruptedby cell phones or computers...it is a blessing.
I also love the Rockies because it makes Downtown come alive. It just brings out the best of everyone. Especially those vying for the same parking spot you are. My, such exclamations of glee when they get the spot instead of me. I like having a positive impact on a total stranger.
I like just sitting in the ballpark, singing along with the bouncing ball, clapping my hands (which is quite the trick when I'm drinking a margarita and holding onto the basket of cheezy chips). I've even offered my laundry skills on complete strangers after I've spilled on them. It's such a bonding experience in so many ways.
