Contributed by: John Eisel/YourHub.com on 4/8/2008

For the sixth straight year, the Denver metro area hosted the world championships of speed stacking, this time April 5 and 6 at the Denver Coliseum.

Approximately 1,100 people from eight countries and 34 states came to participate, the most in the tournament's history.

The top finisher was 10-year-old Steven Purugganan, of Massachusetts, who finished his 3-3-3 stack in 1.86 seconds, the 3-6-3 stack in 2.36 seconds, and the overall cycle in 6.21 seconds.
