The La Vita e' Bella Italian Festival transforms Winter Park into an authentic Italian village July 11-13, 2008
Travel to Italy without leaving Winter Park! The La Vita e' Bella Festival recreates the atmosphere of an Italian mountain village right in Winter Park on July 11-13, 2008, complete with a central piazza, food and wine, exhibitors and seven performances under the big top by the authentic Zoppe' Italian Theatrical Family Circus!
This three-day festival at Winter Park Resort will include an Italian vendor village and artisans, Italian food, wine tastings, and live Italian music featuring the Rich Italiano Quintet, J. Gerardi and Friends Italian Combo, Sal Martorano & Swing Shift, The Four Amicis and more. There will also be an Italian car exhibit featuring the winners of the 2008 Automezzi, Colorado's celebration of Italian motoring, bocce demonstrations, world champion pizza toss artist, Jay Sherman and, of course, Zoppe' Italian circus performances.
The festival's schedule of events is as follows:
Thursday, July 10th at Hideaway Park Amphitheatre:
Italian Festival Music Kick-off at High-Note Thursdays: 6-8 p.m. with the Manhattan Swing Band
Friday, July 11th at Winter Park Resort:Friday Festival hours: 4-8 p.m. with two Zoppe' Circus performances at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Saturday, July 12th at Winter Park Resort:Saturday Festival hours: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. with three Zoppe' Circus performances at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 13th at Winter Park Resort:Sunday Festival hours: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. with two Zoppe' Circus performances at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
