Flip and Colorado Friends Return from trip to
Estrella del Mar, Mazatlan

May 15, 2006, Denver, Colo., ... Relaxed, rejuvenated and warmly suntanned marked the signs of return for Frontier's Flip the Dolphin and the "Flip to Mexico" sweepstakes winners. After spending three days and two nights in Mazatlan at Estrella del Mar; it's safe to say they "Flipped" for the property.

Fort Collins resident, Jessica Barczi was one of the lucky winners on Flip's inaugural flight to Mazatlan. She along with guest Tan Thi Nguyen enjoyed a sun and fun-filled getaway and stay at the Estrella del Mar Golf & Beach Resort.

After arriving bright and early at Denver International Airport on May 4, winners enjoyed coffee and doughnuts and took their picture with Flip. Shortly before boarding the flight, Joe Hodas, spokesperson for Frontier Airlines, held a brief press conference to welcome the contestant winners and announce Flip's inaugural flight to Mexico.

After the direct flight on Frontier from Denver to Mazatlan, Flip, Jessica and the rest of the winners were just a quick 10-minute shuttle ride from Estrella del Mar. After a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing, walks along the property's 3.5 miles of pristine beach and exploring Estrella del Mar, the winners rejoined for a welcome party and dinner at the resort's restaurant, La Paloma.

On Friday, guests had the chance to relax and tour Estrella del Mar and Mazatlan. Flip's guests played golf on the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. course; took horseback rides along the beach; shopped and dined in Mazatlan and relaxed at the property's beautiful pool.

Prior to departure on Saturday, the winners gathered once more for breakfast at 8 a.m. sponsored by Frontier Airlines at the Estrella del Mar Club House. Arriving back in Denver around 4 p.m. was the perfect ending to a relaxing trip to Mexico.

Estrella del Mar owner and managing partner, Patrick Butler was pleased to welcome Frontier, Flip and friends to Estrella del Mar. "We couldn't have been more happy to host Flip's first flight to Mazatlan. We sincerely hope that all of the guests will be back to visit on a regular basis".

Estrella del Mar is the only American master planned gated community in Mazatlan. They are proud to offer home and condominiums for sale as well as a boutique hotel for a more temporary stay.
