Blog Entry 67 of 83 North Denver Doorbell
Greetings. I'm the editor at YourHub.com and I use this blog to share what's going on in my 'hood and beyond. If you're curious, the North Denver Doorbell is the regular honking we hear in our neighborhood as motorists approach alley intersections or when they don't feel like getting out of their cars to politely knock or ring a doorbell.

New Year's 2008 event roundup
Contributed by: Fairlight Baer-Gutierrez/YH   on 12/26/2007

Until this year, I have been the type to eagerly pursue a memorable New Year's Eve. A pub in Amsterdam, a motel in Moab, a hotel in Bangkok, Dixons and defunct nightclub LuckyStar have been among the just-right spots. I embraced Y2K with a smooch on a pedestrian bridge over Kellogg Boulevard in Wichita. Aw yeah.

But ringing in 2008 with my hubby, Bear, and friends DeVonna and Ryan at home sounds just right. Heck, there may actually be a little memory involved in the memorable this year.

I still want to help you get your party on though! Here are several adult and kiddo-friendly New Year's Eve and New Year's Day events that YourHub.com users have posted. If you'd like to be added to this list, simply register (it's free) and submit the event. Once it's on the site, e-mail me the link and I'll add it to this list.

Happy holidays.

Back in 2001 I was on a plane going to New Zealand. Somewhere over the Pacific the crew decided it was now 2002. Out came the champagne! I love New Zealand Airlines....
