Greetings. I'm the editor at YourHub.com and I use this blog to share what's going on in my 'hood and beyond. If you're curious, the North Denver Doorbell is the regular honking we hear in our neighborhood as motorists approach alley intersections or when they don't feel like getting out of their cars to politely knock or ring a doorbell.

When's the last time you got up at 4:53 a.m.?

Bear's out of town right now,and that's when I got the call for our cellphone-enabled shared viewing of the total lunar eclipse today.

Always a beautiful sight. The kid who delivers our newspaper clearly agreed because I gave him a scare when I greeted him from the porch as he was looking skyward.

If you missed it, here's a list of when lunar and solar eclipses will occur in the next few years.

WOW. That picture is gorgeous! A friend of mine said his wife made him go outside to look at the eclipse. She sais, "What do you think?" He responded, "It's dark. At night. Wooo! That's different," and went back to bed.
