Seniors become computer savvy
Contributed by: Randy Roebuck   on 7/6/2007

The Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists (CABPES) is helping senior citizens learn how to use computers this summer. For the past ten years CABPES has had the Widening Our World Program (WOW) to teach basic computer skills to seniors 60 years and older. The oldest student to complete the program was 99 years old.

The eight week program is free of cost to the seniors who participate and is taught by students from the CABPES Junior Engineers Tommorrows Scientists Program (JETS). For information about participating in the program call
