Parenting..Parenting...Parenting!
Anyone who has been a parent knows that it brings both great rewards and challenging moments. This is my take on the life of being a being a parent, most of that time a single parent.....my struggles, my successes and everything in between.

What is it about the love a littlegirl has for her father that is so special? I used to feel pretty important before we had Victoria just 6 months ago. But slowely, she has taken my place as the light in his eyes. Now I guess I should be jealous, and at times I think I just might be....but overall it is amazing to watch how much he loves her and she loves him.
I was watching them play today, and watching Victoria's eyes light up when her daddy walked through the door. All I could think about was how special and important this relationship was for her. That her daddy will be the first, and most important man in her life. That she will base her standards for the future Mr. Right all by how her relationship is with Saul. Whata lucky little girl to have so much love. After long days at work, it seems that she is the only thing that can make him smile sometimes. And I mean smile from ear to ear. And sometimes, his voice is the only thing that seems to reasure her that everything is alright. I never thought I would see him literally jump up every night just to change her diaper.
I am ok taking back seat. She deserves to be number one. And one day, when it comes time for you to leave me and daddy I will watch his heart break. What a lucky little girl you are my love, to have such a wonderful daddy.

I'm glad you're grown up enough to recognize all this! Sometimes people can't do it. This love for your daughter will put her miles ahead in terms of brain and emotional development, so I'm glad to hear of it.
