A headline on
rockymountainnews.com declares, "This is it -- the night everyone has been talking about all year."
Really? I've heard a lot more about post-holiday sales and
Jay Leno,
David Letterman and
Conan O'Brien's return to late night.
Rocky Mountain News columnist
Mike Littwin writes that about 300,000 Iowans are expected to participate in today's caucus. The rest (1.7 million) are busy sharing their favorite lines from last night's talk shows. He and the Associated Press also
predict there will be no clear winners.
I am interested in the 2008 presidential election, eager to participate in the Colorado caucus and hopeful that Denver will shine at the
DNC. However, I'm not convinced those who will be nominated are in the race yet or that the Iowa caucus will have much influence this year.
Forget "Who would you vote for?" How about "Do you care?"
