Dome Car Magic at the Forney Museum
Contributed by: Beverly Little on 12/21/2007

What:
Richard Luckin will present his Emmy Award nominated PBS documentary "Dome Car Magic" at the Forney Museum of Transportation, 4303 Brighton Blvd. (just south of I-70 and the Coliseum) as part of the Museum's on-going Rail Fan Lecture Series. The FREE lecture series is presented in cooperation with the National Railway Historical Society. The series is intended to bring informative and fun programs to rail fans of all ages.

While the Forney does not have a dome car in its collection, Mr. Luckin is displaying a wonderful case of scale model dome and observation cars in the Museum's Gallery. Admission is not charged to visit this display either, but regular admission will be charged to visit the Museum's extensive collection of rare and unique modes of transportation ($7 for adults, less for seniors and other kids, under 5 free)--autos, carriages, trolleys, trains, bicycles, and motorcycles.

Call 303-297-1113 for directions and/or information.
Where: Forney Museum of Transportation 4303 Brighton Blvd. Denver 80216
