"Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!" - The Northland Chorale is pleased to present its new spring musical review of songs that make you want to dance. Songs like "Puttin' on the Ritz", "Dancing in the Street", "Big City Swing", "YMCA" and many more. As always, this is Quality Family Entertainment for all ages! We are pleased to welcome back comedian Gary Carnes and all the solo and small group numbers that make this such a delightful show. Choral musical numbers directed by Robert Bartalot.
Being that this show's theme is Song and Dance, the choreography committee has decided we need to do a lot more dancing, so just about every number has some sort of movement. "This is proving to be one of the hardest shows we've had to learn, in a long time" remarked one of the chorale members. The songs are so diverse as are the dance styles associated with them. Songs from the 20s, 30s, 50s, 60s and 80s - Swing, Jazz, Waltz, Cha-cha, Disco and even a little Hip-hop. "We've got it all this time" said one of the chorale performers. We also expect this show to be rather humorous thanks to our great emcee, Gary Carnes and his comedic direction. There will be several comedy skits to entertain you during chart transitions. It should be a fun, musical, family oriented show to remember.
