Sue Ellen Goss, Linda Goto & Lisa Williams to Spearhead Eight-Week Fundraising Campaign for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rocky Mountain chapter today announced Sue Ellen Goss of Littleton, Linda Goto of Denver and Lisa Williams of Cherry Hills Village as co-chairs for the 2008 Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign. This eight-week fundraising campaign will kick off April 1, 2008.
Candidates throughout Colorado will vie for the title of Man of the Year and Woman of the Year by raising funds for blood cancer research and patient services. Each dollar raised counts as one "vote;" the male and female candidates with the most "votes" will be named the 2008 Man & Woman of the Year during the Grand Finale Celebration held at the Denver Marriott City Center on May 31, 2008.
Candidates compete in honor of a friend or family member or in honor of the Society's Boy & Girl of the Year who are local children currently undergoing treatment or are in remission from a blood cancer. Candidates are ambitious, competitive, philanthropic professionals of any age who may or may not have a connection to the mission. The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a great way for candidates to network with other influential people in their communities while also bringing help and hope to thousands of blood cancer patients.
If you are interested in becoming a 2008 Man & Woman of the Year candidate or would like to nominate someone, please contact Kelly Posthuma at (303) 984-2110 or
