Police blotter: Camera gear stolen from porch

CAMERA GEAR STOLEN FROM PORCH
A resident of the 3500 block of West 40 th Avenue reported the theft of more than $10,000 in camera gear on April 9. The resident said he was moving several duffel bags and other items from his car to the front porch, then into the house. The camera bag containing two digital cameras, lenses, flash units, memory cards and batteries was stolen between 10 and 10:45 a.m.

COMPUTER STOLEN FROM SCHOOL
Police investigated the theft of a computer processing board valued at $2,500 from the University of Colorado at Denver King Center, 855 Lawrence Way reported April 15. The unit was taken from an unlocked room, apparently between April 4 and April 11.

150 T-SHIRTS STOLEN FROM CAR
A resident of the 2900 block of Larimer Street reported the break-in of his 1998 Saab 900 on April 10. Between 8:30 p.m. April 9 and 8 a.m. April 10, someone forced open a door and stole 150 printed T-shirts, coins and two pair of sunglasses, valued at a total of $2,735.

CARBROKEN INTOIN HOTEL PARKING LOT
A Dillon, Colo., woman reported her car was broken into in the parking lot of the Radisson Hotel, 3333 Quebec St. on April 11. While the car was being unloaded between 10 and 10:30 a.m. someone stole a backpack containing a laptop computer, two leather jackets and a digital camera. The computer was valued at $200.

SUV BREAK-IN REPORTED
A resident of the 4100 block of West 41 st Avenue reported the break-in of his 2000 Toyota 4Runner parked in an alley adjacent to his home April 16. Between 10 p.m. April 15 and 7 a.m. April 16, someone broke a rear window and stole tools, a walkie-talkie, iPod, a headset and cell phone valued at a total of $683.

STEREO STOLEN IN CAR BREAK-IN
A resident of the 20700 block of East 48 th Place reported the break-in of a 2005 Scion XB on April 8. Between 7 and 8:45 p.m., someone broke a driver's side window and stole a built-in stereo valued at $250.
