Police seek tips after fatal shooting

On July 26, at the approximately 12:53 a.m., Denver police responded to the 3200 block of Conejos Place on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the body of a man, deceased, and lying between two cars in the alley. The man had apparent gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The investigation found that this incident began over a parking dispute that escalated into a group fight and ultimately a shooting. Investigators will continue to develop leads to identify the person or person(s) responsible for this crime.

Information regarding the identification of the victim is pending positive confirmation and notification of next of kin.
