Imagine cows in an open field, pigs in a mud pit in Mexico, motorcycles on an open road and...Regis University? These unlikely pairings are part of the University's new advertising campaign, "Stories on Service." Designed by advertising agency Karsh and Hagan, the campaign incorporates the service message of all three colleges at Regis. The campaign will be on display at the Cherry Creek Mall through September 2008.
Karsh and Hagan was tasked with designing a campaign that ties all three schools together, each with a different target market, but all offering service to the community as part of their curriculum. Enter pigs, cows and motorcycles to highlight the student's experience with service. For example, one student who did a service project in Nuevo Rosito, Mexico, tells an interesting story about a pig; another student rode his bicycle and motorcycle across the United States for his final project. The pictures and quotes from students are designed to draw the viewer to the student's full story on the Regis Web site.
John Hickey, associate provost at Regis University, headed up the committee at Regis responsible for the new ads. "The campaign highlights the distinctive nature of Regis University as a Jesuit Catholic institution," says Hickey. "While we have three colleges that serve diverse and divergent groups of students, our mission remains at the heart of our education."
