Heronema, from Berthoud, Colo., was also named First Team All-RMAC this season. She finished the season batting .472 which is currently 12th best in NCAA Division II this season. She is second in the country with 101 hits, which puts her in ninth place all-time in NCAA Division II history.

Heronema posted a .500 on-base percentage which is fifth best ever at Regis. Her 101 hits broke her school record total of 84 she had during the 2008 season and also broke the RMAC record. She also broke the school record for most at-bats with 214, surpassing Melissa Backlund (2006) who had 213.

The speedy Heronema who can play both catcher and outfield, is tops in the NCAA, in all three divisions, with 13 triples. Her 13 triples is tied for fourth most in Division II history and is also a Regis and RMAC record. Heronema only struck out nine times in 232 plate appearances and has earned 11 walks.

In her first two seasons, Heronema has tallied 185 hits which is already seventh best in Regis history trailing Rebekah Tippets (1999-02) who had 244.

Heronema will now be placed on the national ballot which will be voted upon next week.
