On November 12th of last year
Eric Lubbers had the idea to start posting a photo a day for six months. He invited others to participate and I was one who joined the challenge.
As time went by all others decided that they had other commitments to pursue. On April 6th Eric also decided that he could not continue. There I was all alone and too stubborn to give it up. After all there was only a little more the thirty days to go.
I continued and finished on May 12th. All I received was the self-satisfaction knowing that I finished a task that I committed to finish. It made me feel good knowing that I was able to finish the challenge.
In a conversation it was suggested that I take all the photos for the challenge and make an album of the photos. I thought "why not"! I took 566 photos for the duration and only used maybe 200. This album has all of the photos. Some days I took various subjects and other days I just needed one photo.
All in all, it was interesting and challenging. I did think of things I never thought of before and I was continually looking for different and unusual items for a daily photo. I went through fall, winter, holidays, a vacation and the springtime. It does give me a comprehensive six month period of my life. When the period was over I was ready for a rest though.
