I don't want to sound like a commercial. But, I would like to share our experience with Town Hall Arts Center at 2450 West Main Street in downtown Littleton. We recently attended the current event, "
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." My wife and I have been season ticket holders for about ten years and thoroughly enjoy this place. It is a small intimate professional theatre that is celebrating 26 years. The maximum seating capacity is only 264 patrons. In my opinion, there is not one bad seat in the theatre.
In the past ten years we have attended many different performances. For example,
Man of La Mancha,
Footloose,
Cabaret,
West Side Story,
Forever Plaid and many more. In addition to plays and musicals they also book individual singers and ensembles. You have a broad selection of live entertainment. This broad selection is one of the many enjoyable features of Town Hall Arts Center. I cannot remember of any performance that was ever below a professional standard. Sure, there were performances that did not capture my interest. However, how do you know until you attend the show.
Another enjoyable feature is the small intimate size of the theatre. I have attended performances at the center in downtown Denver and the Arvada arts center. At those centers they are close to being too large and this hampers the enjoyment of the experience. Parking has never been a problem in downtown Littleton. I do not like to go into downtown Denver because of the parking. Refreshments for sale are available before the show and during intermission. Drinks are allowed in the theatre.
Ticket prices are very reasonable. They range from $34.00 to $20.00, depending on seating location and day of performance.I feel this is a very good value for the entertainment you receive. If you are looking for something to do, give Littleton Town Hall Arts Center a try. The web site
