Description:

Fjelldalen Lodge #6-162 is hosting our annual Lutefisk and Lefse Dinner on December 5, 2009 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. This is a traditional Scandinavian holiday celebration that encourages ethnic memories in the Scandinavian community and to introduce the heritage of the season to their families and friends.

This is a great opportunity for all Scandinavians whether by birth, marriage or others who have just grown to love this uniquely different and distinctly flavored fish, to gather and share their memories of the traditional lutefisk dinners of their past and to pass on this ethnic tradition to others in our community.

Join for us an evening filled with fun and laughter, along with good food. As lutefisk is more of an acquired taste rather than an instant or inherited taste, no one will go away hungry, as we will be serving kjottkaker, the Norwegian meatballs, with the fish not everyone has grown to love. While enjoying the evening, visit the Butikken for Scandinavian gift items or buy an assortment of Christmas Cookies from the bakers of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for your holiday gatherings.

God Jul!!!
