CoIS is a unique American international school that pairs American and international curricula. CoIS offers dual language programs and multicultural understanding, taking advantage of the best teaching strategies from around the world. Starting in preschool, children have an opportunity to be immersed in a world language and to learn that second language in the same manner as they learned the first - through experiencing it. The program continues to offer this second language immersion through elementary school, but adds English in progressively greater amounts. The school is committed to each child's acquiring comprehensive knowledge in the academic content of both languages. In the middle school years, a student studies English and his or her second language, as well as a third world language.
