Police said the woman was walking her dogs and pushing her child in a stroller in the area of the 4400 block of East Ellsworth Avenue when the suspect drove by, threatened her, spit at her and nearly ran her over. TWO ROBBED BY GUN-WIELDING DUO A Denver man in his mid-30s and a 24-year-old Fort Collins woman were robbed in a parking lot on the 4900 block of East Hampden Avenue, according to police reports. Police say the pair were talking at about 3 a.m. when they were approached by two teenage males with guns. They reportedly forced the man to the ground and the woman into the back of her car. Police say one of the suspects hit the woman in the back of the head with his gun. The suspects reportedly took items worth about $186 from the two and fled on foot. ANGRY GIRLFRIEND ATTACKS MAN WITH CAR A woman was arrested on charges of felony menacing, disturbing the peace and cocaine possession Aug. 3, according to police reports. Police say at about 3 a.m., the woman followed a Denver man, who had been involved in a relationship with her, and two Westminster women riding with him to the man's home on the 1600 block of South Albion Street. There, police say, the woman tried to run the man over when he got out of his car. She then tried to follow the two women as they left in their own vehicle. Upon arrest, police allegedly found a suspected marijuana pipe and a bag of suspected cocaine with a straw. ARGUMENT LEADS TO BROKEN BONES An argument between acquaintances who had been drinking led to broken bones Aug. 10. Police say a Denver woman in her mid-30s and a 49-year-old Denver man were arguing at a residence on the 1600 block of South Corona Street when the man shoved the woman off the porch. The woman reportedly broke a calf bone in the fall. The man was arrested for aggravated assault.
