Police blotter: Two attacked in robbery

TWO ATTACKED IN ROBBERY
A 20-year-old woman and her 21-year-old ex-boyfriend were attacked on the 2800 block of South Federal Boulevard at about 1:50 a.m. April 23, according to police reports. Police say the two were walking together when an unknown suspect hit the woman over the head with a blunt object and pepper sprayed the man, took the woman's purse and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

THREE ATTACK ROOMMATE
A 20-year-old Denver woman was attacked by her roommate and two acquaintances at about 12:30 a.m. April 22 in her apartment on the 1000 block of South Parker Road, according to police reports. Police say the roommate, a 20-year-old woman, grabbed the woman by the hair and slammed her head into a wall twice, then punched her twice in the face. A second suspect, a 19-year-old female, reportedly kicked the woman in the side as she was on the ground. Police said the third suspect, a 19-year-old male from Denver, threatened the woman with a knife. All three suspects were arrested on the scene, the first two on suspicion of assault, the third for menacing.

ASSAILANT CUTS MAN IN APARTMENT
A 19-year-old Denver male was attacked with a knife by an unknown suspect at about 2:20 a.m. April 21, according to police reports. Police say the man was visiting a friend in her apartment on the 1000 block of South Parker Road when an unknown suspect cut his foot and fled. The man was treated by paramedics and refused to be taken to the hospital.

ATTACKERS TURN SHOPLIFTING INTO ROBBERY
The Gen X clothing store at 1340 S. Federal Blvd. was robbed at about 3:55 p.m. April 23, according to police reports. Police say three unknown suspects, two male and one female, entered the store and tried on clothes and removed alarm tags and stuffed other items in bags before fleeing on foot. When they were confronted by two employees in the parking lot, one of the male suspects reportedly punched one of the employees, a 36-year-old man, in the face, then drew a knife and stabbed the other employee, a 44-year-old Denver man, in the arm. The female suspect reportedly pulled out a knife of her own and also cut the 36-year-old in the hand. The three suspects then reportedly split up and fled in unknown directions.
