Police blotter: Shots fired into Aroma Cafe

SHOTS FIRED INTO AROMA CAFÉ
Police say at about 1:55 a.m. June 25, an unknown suspect fired several shots into the Aroma Café, 2017 S. University Blvd. The suspect reportedly stood in an alley across the street when the shots were fired. Police said nobody was injured and crime lab investigators were called to the scene.

DRINKING GIVES WAY TO FIGHTING
Two men, both 32, were drinking in a home on the 1600 block of South Quieto Court at about 11 p.m. June 21, according to police reports, when the two got into an argument. Police said the resident of the home punched the other man several times in the face, causing damage to his nose, and threw him out of the house. The other man found a pay phone and called police, who arrested the suspect on suspicion of aggravated assault.

FALSE IMPRISONMENT IN DOMESTIC INCIDENT
A 38-year-old Denver man may face false imprisonment charges after police said he held his common-law wife, 32, against her will in their home on the 1900 block of South Franklin Street at about 1:50 a.m. June 24. The woman also told police the suspect punched her in the eye and threatened to kill her. No arrest had been announced at the time of the report.
