Although Tyson's owners were unaware of it, this four month old Boxer swallowed a rat-tail comb. After two days of vomiting he was taken to an Emergency Clinic where they could not diagnose what was wrong with this adorable pup. After the visit Tyson seemed to feel better. Then a few days later the vomiting began again. Tyson's owners took him to Animal Health Care Specialists where x-rays were taken after seeing something protruding from Tyson's back. Tyson had swallowed the rat-tail comb which punctured his esophagus, entered his stomach, and the rat-tail portion of the comb proceeded to puncture through his back muscles.

P.S. After surgery on July 31 Tyson is recovering nicely and should be able to go home in a few days.
