I was born to a Navy lifer in the fifties at Fitzsimmons Hospital (now the University of Colorado Hospital) in Aurora. I spent most of my childhood in Colorado.

I have traveled to eleven countries and twenty-five U.S. states.

Education: I have a B.A. degree in management from St. Mary's College of California, and a post graduate paralegal certificate.

What I wanted to be growing up: Most of all, a pony express rider.

Pets: a 12 1/2 year old mixed breed dog named Phoebe, a 5 1/2 year old miniature dachshund named Jewel, and a 4 1/2 year old female cat named Josey.
