Police blotter: Purse taken in car break-in

PURSE STOLEN FROM CAR
A Denver woman reported the break-in of her 1998 Honda Civic parked on the 300 block of East Alameda Avenue on April 7. Between 5:10 and 6:30 a.m., someone broke a passenger window and stole a purse containing a wallet, $300 cash, sunglasses and a flash drive, valued at a total of $720.

BICYCLE STOLEN FROM OPEN GARAGE
A resident of the 1800 block of South Clarkson Street reported the theft of a road racing bicycle from her garage April 2. The owner said the $3,200 bike was undoubtedly taken when she was going back and forth from house to garage while unloading groceries from his car April 1 or 2.
