Bio: I like to take long walks around a mall but seldom do anymore as my feet grow flatter and flatter. Iwatch weird DVD's in my kitchen, and drink milk out of the carton. My favorite juice is prune juice. Sometimes I like to make faces.

You'd think by now I would have learned that when developing any kind of project, I shouldn't rely on anyone for help. If I've learned anything, it's that they'll give you a lot of excuses and complaints but little in the way of necessary help. I think this is caused by the idea of instant results that has developed in our society. From now on, I'm not going to step outside of what I can do by myself.

I've given up on continuing the www.oldmagman.com website. I had hopes of having it finished by the middle of summer but Jerry's father died around the same time that he opened a store on eBay. Since he sees almost instant results on eBay, he has lost all interest in the site and what could have been made out of it so I have mothballed the pictures and code I need to continue. I don't anticipate doing any further work on the mag man site. Currently, the site contains all the available Life magazine covers for the years 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1964, 1965, and 1966.

At present I'm putting my effort into Exposing the Golden Years and in reworking Acquired Tastes until I'm satisfied with it. By blogging, I have forced myself to go back and take a second look at my rough draft of this book, something I probably would never have gotten around to without the blog. I'm also planning to sign up on nanowrimo dot com and push myself to write a second novel this coming November.

Finally, I don't think people realize the value of YourHub but the fact that it is growing rapidly shows that more and more people are catching on to the enormous power that this free outlet gives them to express themselves. Because when you work your way down to the bottom line, the Internet is all about people and what they have to say.
