I'm a sucker for a good restaurant.
It was not but a couple of nights ago when my dear friend
Stephanie and I were sitting in my living room throwing ideas back and forth about where we wished to dine that evening.
After a bit, this is what we knew:
For an appetizer, we wanted a refreshing plate of cheese. Moving on to the main course, Steph and I, both avid meat eaters, felt like indulging in some succulent lamb. Of course, the lamb would warrant a bold glass of merlot. Naturally, that was a must.
After a bit, I said, "Why don't we go to Anise? It's only up the street and I know they have a very nice plate of lamb."
Boom. There it was. We jumped in the car, mouths salivating, and headed over to Anise Mediterranean - one of Edgewater's newest restaurants.
And truth be told, we got exactly what we wanted. We got our lamb, a wonderful plate of cheese, which included baby brie (my favorite) and, finding ourselves wanting a dessert, Steph and I ordered Anise's not-too-sweet and not-too-heavy chocolate cake.
If you're like Stephanie and myself and dine out from time to time, start a blog at
YourHub.com and tell us about your experiences. What did you order and, of course, did you like it? All submissions are considered for our weekly print edition.
