Edgewater Scrub Day 2005

Edgewater's Scrub Day 2005 was held on Sept. 10 where ten homes were scrubbed by 11 volunteers doing everything from window washing to painting and tree trimming. In the spring and fall the city provide dumpsters for citizens to beautify their property and clean up unwanted items. At the fall cleanup we ask for volunteers to help citizens that need assistance. This years among the volunteers that helped were four high school students Tiffany Smither, Mark Holghren, Hussen Hassan, and Stephen Breedlove.  Other volunteers were Mike Miller, Ben and Shelly Celius, Al Lebois, Jim Garcia, and Melanie and Bob Prewitt. The city thanks the volunteers that helped make this event a success.
