Students' artwork wows the crowd

For most artists, showing a piece of work can be extremely gratifying, lots of hard work, and fun all at the same time. All of the students now showing their work at 45 Degrees Custom Framing & Gallery know this now firsthand. Some of the young artists have shown their work before, but for most, it was a first.

Students involved are Nikolos Schnebly 1st grade from Ryan Elementary, Alex Archibeque 3rd grade from Edgewater Elementary, Alex Gallegos ECE Centennial Elementary, Jade Gallegos 6th grade form Centennial Elementary, Morgan Johnson age 5 from Buzz Aldrin Elementary, Tatum Cabri kindergarten Eagleview Elementary, America Quecada from Maple Grove Elementary, Dillon Araki age 10 West Jeff Elementary, Nicole Biewener and Tierney Huskin both from Drake Middle School, Collene Lewis age 14 from Collegiate Academy of Colorado, Alan Dean 11th grade from Holy Family High School, Corrie Frank age 15 from Broomfield High School, Brianna Redden 12th grade, Monica Collins 11th grade, Larissa Muniz 12th grade, and Sara Eckendorf 11th grade from North High School.

During the reception on Friday the 12th, the kids enjoyed a sidewalk chalk activity while parents, grandparents and friends gathered to check out the art. On Saturday, kids of all ages got their faces painted in swirling designs, flowers and sparkles while coloring frogs, dinosaurs, seals, and elephants. The sale of raffle tickets to win an original American Flag mixed media piece generated a generous gift of art supplies to a local school. A great big thanks and congratulations to all of the students who participated in the show, it wouldn't have been possible without your creativity! Thanks also to the parents, grandparents, family and friends who came out to support the show! Stay tuned for next year's show!
