Contributed by: Lydia Anderson on 8/13/2008

Edgewater Parks and Recreation wants you to step up to health. Edgewater Parks and Recreation and America on the Move are celebrating 'Step-tember'. America on the Move is a national non-profit organization helping individuals, families and communities make positive small changes to improve health and quality of life. In the month of September, join me, the Edgewater Parks and Recreation Director, take on the challenge of adding 2000 more steps a day and eating 100 fewer calories a day by eating smarter. By joining, you will get access to all the nutritional information and daily tips that can help you be the healthiest you can be. You can also track you progress by going to www.americaonthemove.org.

Edgewater Parks and Recreation will be holding some gatherings in the month of September to help you stay motivated and keep adding up those steps! E-mail Lydia Anderson at landerson@edgewaterco.com to sign up for the Edgewater Step-tember challenge. We will be tracking our steps with pedometers and getting active! Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
