The Fiesta Colorado Dance Company presents Dia de los Muertos and Flamenco Gypsy Souls.
Come see a colorful celebration of death, love and life, 8 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27, at the the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood.
The Fiesta Colorado Dance Company, with artistic director
Jeanette Trujillo-Lucero
, is the most recognized Hispanic dance company in Colorado and the 2006 recipient of the Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts. This company of dancers is the only company presenting a stage production of the traditional Mexican dances surrounding the festive Dia de Los Muertos celebration. A colorful program of haunting spirits is presented only at this time of the year.
Also presented will be the Flamenco Gypsy Souls and Witches Sabbath, featuring original choreography by world renowned dancer,

Music by Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra, directed by
Juventino Romero
; The talented and most professional mariachi group in the country, based out of Denver, is selected to perform each year with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, international mariachi festivals and local celebrations in conjunction with the Consulado General de Mexico and the Mexican Culture Center.
